You may find 1 or 2 rice bugs after sometime as no chemical are used, only natural ingredients. You can put inside freezer for few hours or few days, the bug will be dead.
Tips for coloured rice to last longer:
1. Do not play with water, keep dry
2. Store in airtight zip lock bag or container after play
3. Store in dry and bright environment
3. Put in freezer for 3 days to kill all rice bug.
